2. Warranty Criteria
To be eligible for a warranty claim, the following criteria must be met:
- Proof of Purchase: Must provide proof of purchase.
- Original Owner: Warranty applies to the original owner only.
- Within Warranty Period: The claim must be within the listed warranty period for that brand.
- Retailer within Australia: The product must have been purchased from an authorized retailer within Australia.
- Correct Warranty Process Followed: The warranty process must be correctly followed as outlined.
- Clear Images Provided: Clear images of the defect or issue must be provided.
- Adherence to Care and Maintenance Guidelines: The product must have been maintained according to the care instructions provided in the user manual by the brand.
3. Warranty Coverage
Our products are covered by a warranty that ensures they are free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period varies by product and brand:

4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- All Brands: Normal wear and tear
- All Brands: Damage caused by misuse or abuse
- All Brands: Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- SIS: Perishable goods such as SIS products (warranty within expiry date against packaging and product quality)
- SLF Motion: Anodizing finishes
- Bosch: Bosch warranties are not handled by the BikeSportz Warranty Support Team directly; these need to be done via your Bosch diagnostics or through the Bosch Service Centre.
- Knipex: Knipex warranty is only for items purchased through BikeSportz and that have the Cyclus stamp on the handle.
- Reynolds: Please note that the lifetime warranty for Reynolds rims is limited and is only offered if they were purchased after December 31st, 2017.
5. Warranty Claim Process

Initiate a Warranty Claim:
- Create a ticket via your B2B account or sign in via this link.
- Ensure you have your invoice number and product details ready.

Warranty Authorization:
- Our Warranty and Support Team will provide you with a warranty authorization number and instructions for returning the item(s).

Shipping:
- Some items will need to be returned to our Service Centre for repair or inspection. In those cases, follow the steps provided by the Warranty Support Team, which may include the following:
- Ship the item(s) directly to our Service Centre at your cost.
- Ensure the item(s) are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Include the warranty authorization number with your return shipment.
- Some items will need to be returned to our Service Centre for repair or inspection. In those cases, follow the steps provided by the Warranty Support Team, which may include the following:
6. Assessment and Resolution
- Inspection: Upon receipt, the item(s) will be inspected to determine if they meet the warranty conditions.
- Resolution: Depending on the outcome, the item(s) may be repaired, replaced, or a credit issued. We strive to resolve all warranty claims within 10 business days of receiving the item(s). However, this timeline is subject to part availability. For some brands, such as Reynolds, it may take longer due to the need to source parts from the OEM market in the USA, which we do not keep in stock locally.
