BikeSportz Product Returns Policy
1. Introduction
At BikeSportz, we are committed to providing a clear and transparent returns process while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This Returns Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for returning items, including batteries classified as Dangerous Goods.
2. General Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following criteria:
- Original Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- No Rips or Tears: Items must be free from any damage.
- Original Labels Only: All original labels must remain intact.
- No Price Tags or Barcodes: Items must not include price tags or barcodes.
- Resaleable Condition: Items must be in resaleable condition.
- No Fitting Marks: Items must not show signs of being fitted or used.
- Invoiced Within 14 Days: Returns are accepted for items invoiced within the last 14 days.
3. Return Process

Initiate a Return:
- Create a ticket via your B2B account or sign in via this link.
- Ensure you have your invoice number ready (this can be found in your B2B account).

Return Authorization:
- Our Warranty and Support Team will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions for returning the item(s).

Shipping:
- Ship the item(s) directly to our Service Centre at your cost.
- Ensure the item(s) are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Include the return authorization number with your return shipment.
4. Inspection and Restocking Fee
- Inspection: Upon receipt, the returned item(s) will be inspected to ensure they meet the return conditions listed above.
- Restocking Fee: If the returned item(s) do not meet the conditions, a restocking fee may be applied, or the return may be refused. In such cases, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Discretion: BikeSportz reserves the right to decline any return request at our discretion.
5. Refunds and Credits
- Eligible Returns: For items that meet the return conditions, a credit will be issued to your account within 10 business days of receiving the return.
- Credit Documentation: A copy of the credit will be supplied via your RN**** Ticket number and will also be available on your B2B account once processed.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Custom or Personalized Items: Examples include Santini custom kit or Basil custom printed bags.
- Final Sale or Non-Returnable Items: Items marked as such at the time of purchase.
- Used or Damaged Products: Items showing signs of use or damage.
- Respro Masks and Filters: If removed from packaging.
- Samples: Provided for evaluation purposes only.
- Special Ordered Items: Examples include Hope Duo Tech 3 Brakeset.
7. Battery Return Policy
For returns involving batteries classified as Dangerous Goods, please adhere to the following additional requirements:
- Shipping Restrictions: Do not return batteries via Australia Post or any air freight services, as this constitutes a dangerous breach of regulations.
- Shipping Requirements: Use a Dangerous Goods Certified service with appropriate UN labels to avoid penalties from transport authorities.
- Approval Required: Battery returns require prior approval and a Battery Return Number (BRN).
- Local Drop-off: Victorian customers may drop off batteries at our office after receiving approval.
- Marking: Clearly mark the package with the BRN provided (e.g., BRN{{ticket.id}}).
- Timely Receipt: The product must be received at our Service Centre within 14 days of receiving the BRN. Items received after this period may incur a restocking fee.
- Documentation: Dangerous Goods shipments must include correct documentation and labels to ensure compliance with transport authority regulations.
- Non-Compliance: Batteries that do not meet the return criteria may be subject to a restocking fee or rejection.

- Timeliness: Ensure items are returned within the specified timeframes to avoid additional fees.
